Real-world life ... helps you remember you aren't just a nobody in front of a computer screen, drudging through the days like your coffee and sporadic bowls of cereal. Getting out will allow you to interact with people, and remember we are ALL little specks on this planet... but little specks who in greater numbers can move mountains. I'm not about to move any mountains but I've had a couple little revelations lately.
1. If you have a creative urge, you ought to follow it. I've suppressed a need to paint since October, and it's now been about a year. I finally painted on Monday night and Tuesday and by Tuesday evening my head was clearer than it's been in at least a year.
2. If there is some negative force in your mind that is hindering your days, it might be worthwhile to write a letter. Give it a code name, if you wish, and write to it like a bad significant other. I heard of this before but I did it on my own recently and it was SO empowering!
3. Everything happens for a reason. It's all how you take it! If you put a positive spin on something, your world will become brighter. But you have to believe it will work. If you believe it, it can happen. Why hold back? (But be patient - especially with intangible things like love and healing)
..... and if all else fails take a candlelit bubblebath, lean right back in the water, and focus on something that makes you peacefully happy
Like the smell of the candles, the sound of the water, or another scene in your mind...
I have clearly been doing too much reflection and meditation.
Yay me!
